Snowboard Pants Jeans
Going Snowboarding/Skiing for the First Time EVER! Help?

So, me and my sister have never been to the slopes, and my dad is FINALLY taking us. He’ll be in the lodge the whole time 
I’ve chosen to snowboard.
What do I need? They do rentals at the mountain.
I know I wear a first layer, which are Long Johns.
What else?
Do you wear snowpants? Mittens? What are the layers? What do you wear under the snow pants? Sweats? Jeans? Leggings? HELP

I’ll just tell you what I do. I think the best option regarding pants is snow pants. I wouldn’t advise jeans or sweats because both get wet, and can cause a miserable day.Then mittens or gloves (for snowboarding, some prefer mittens because they are warmer and you do not have to grip poles.) Underneath the snowpants, i usually just stick on pajama pants, because wear i go, it is warm enough that i dont need much more. If you are worried youll be cold you could wear thicker layers underneath. A snowboard jacket and something like a long sleeve shirt underneath should be good for the top (but the same applies regarding if you’re worried, wear more layers). For your first time, definetely wear a helmet, then goggles also should probably be worn. Make sure you somehow get a pair of high ski socks because if you wear normal socks a get blisters it just ruins you day.
That seems like all, and , as i said before this is based only on what i do, but it has seemed to work. Remember that its your first time you will fall alot, and itll be frustrating, but stick with it and you’ll love snowboarding. Have a great and fun day on the slopes.
