Service Dress Khakis
What do you recommend wearing to an interview for a bank customer service job?
I’m a 19 year old guy and have only worked at Kmart all through high school and still presently am. I applied for a customer service job at a bank which basically sounds like a call center. It’s a call center for bank employees to call in order to assist bank customers, not directly to the customers themselves. I know it’s nothing GREAT but it’s a few dollar an hour pay increase for me so I’d like to nail the face to face interview since they liked my phone interview.
I’m probably rambling so my question is: I plan on wearing a nicer button up collared shirt, khaki pants, and dress shoes. Is that good enough or should I go with a shirt and tie? Any certain colors?

Wear a suit and tie (red ties are always handsome and responsible). Make sure you have a fresh hair. You always want to go for a clean cut professional look. Also, you should plan out what you are basically going to say. Try to refrain from using big words. (it makes you look like you are trying to hard; you might also use them in the wrong way) Be aware of the question: “Why do you think you are qualified for this job”? If you can pull this off you are sure to nail the interview!!!
