What should I wear on the first day of high school? (HELP!)?
I don’t want to overdress on the first day like some of the people suggest on yahoo! answers (wearing heels, a dress..) Can you guys give me suggestions on what to wear on the first day tomorrow? I’m going to be a freshman and I don’t want to be super overdressed.
-Please don’t answer with “just dress however you want to” because I have no idea what to wear. So just help me? No “smart” comments >___<
-If it helps, I'm 5'4, pale, have black layered "scene" hair with highlights, and dark brown eyes.
-Give me a full outfit? (: It'd be nice if there were pictures or on polyvore, but descriptions of an outfit are okay too.
-I don't want to wear a skirt, maybe shorts or skinny jeans. Oh and, what type of shoes should I wear? (: No heels please.
-I don't know anyone there, so what can I wear to not look snobby and intimidating?
-i really like to dress in these styles: edgy/girly/"scene"
-What kind of makeup style should I put on?
-Totebag or backpack?
1. I’d say do something casual. Skinny jeans and a cute tank. Darkwash skinnies help look thinner, ripped ones give edge, and lightwash have an airy feel.
2. As for shoes, flipflops, cute sandals, and cute tennisshoes (like lowtop converse)
3. Go fairly light with the makeup. I mean, I’m not saying don’t wear any at all, but don’t look like a total raccoon, it’s not pretty.
4. It’s really your choice. In highschool i tried out a tote at first, but it ended up putting too much weight on one shoulder, since i got tons of homework, and wasn’t big enough often times. I like backpacks more, but you might have to try different things out that work for you
