Steamboat’s Mount Werner running race hits cap
Saturday’s Mount Werner Classic, part of the Steamboat Springs Running Series, has hit its 125-runner cap for the first time in history. The run from the base of the gondola at the ski area is one of the most challenging in the series, organizers said. Saturday’s races start at 8 a.m. with the 12-mile race and 8:30 for the 5-mile version.
