What should I make as my first garment?
Im hoping to create a garment soon. I hope to study fashion in college when I get there, but as of now the only experience I have is drawing my own designs, reading fashion magazines and browsing the internet and watching project runway.
What should I make as my first project? Something simple that will help me learn,also, where would be the best place online for help?
Try making a simple sheath dress. They’re relatively easy to make and you’ll be able to wear it right away. 
I make my own clothes all the time and this has always been the easiest for me.
