What should I wear to my works X-mas party? ?
It needs to look nice because there will be important people there. There will be cocktails, dinner, dessert, kareoke, dancefloor, etc.
I don’t want to look too dressed up but not too casual.
I was thinking a short dress with long sleeves (I’m only 5’2″) nut nothing strappy or lowcut. I want to look conservative. I am going solo to the party because my BF will be in NY on business.
Any suggestions?
They say that you should always dress for the job you want, so dress to impress! Keep it conservative and professional, but toss in some bright red or green to go with the holiday. If you’re going to wear a dress or skirt, I would steer away from anything more than a couple inches above the knee.
Perhaps something simple like a festive but professional sweater with a skirt or slacks plus appropriate accessories? If the dress you have in mind looks professional, I think that’s a great idea too. You want to look professional but still young and fun! Enjoy the party!
