English help Transitions!!!?
in english we’re working on transitioning words tell me if this sounds ok
I knew when I woke up this morning that this was going to be a bad day. Since we lost or electricity during the night, and my alarm didn’t go off. I woke up late and only had 15 minutes to get to the bus stop. Therefore, I didn’t have time for breakfast or a shower. I got to school and found that the locker I share with my best friend had been vandalized. As a result, we both had our gym shoes stolen, and our books and papers we covered with shaving cream and chocolate syrup. When I got to English class, I realized I had forgotten my essay at home in my rush to get out of the house. Then we had a pop quiz over the reading assignment in history, and I missed four out of ten. Altogether, this is one day that I definitely would have been better off sleeping through. Maybe tomorrow will be better. On the whole, it couldn’t be much worse.
