Art Institute of Dallas a well-known great school?
My dream job for a career is to open up my own design company being a CEO and hire designers to work for me. I’m very interested and passionate about business and fashion.
I live in Dallas and going off to a college out of Texas is not in my intentions yet. I’m planning on staying here for a year or two because I’m still not ready to leave my parents yet, it’s so hard since I’m so attached to them.
The major I want to pursue in is probably Fashion Merchandising or Apparel Manufacturing. So my question is:
Is the Ai of Dallas a great well known school for fashion professionals in the nation?
I’m also considering of going to FIDM in Los Angeles after staying Texas for a year then transfering to Parsons over in New York.
Advice and tips were be greatly appreciated.
I have a grandpa who lives in Texas and I have to say, I love Texas but how much fashion is there in Texas if you wanted to have a fashion career? I would say FIDM is your best bet because it’s in LA and there’s a lot of fashion designers who live there and I’m sure who also went to FIDM. I’ve seen a lot about FIDM on Project Runway and on TV so I’m sure if you went to FIDM, you would go far and how fun would it be to go to school in LA and study fashion in a place where famous fashion designers went?
