Aspiring Makeup Artist looking for a great school to attend school after high school?
17 years and I've decided I want be a professional makeup artist. Makeup is my passion and decided to make a career out of it. I'm very probably looking for makeup schools in California, because this is where most bills are (or so I heard). I been searching online for schools to be good and I need opinions from people who have attended schools in California or know people who have. I do not know exactly what the makeup area I want to work at the moment. But it will probably be something like beauty and fashion. Certainly, if no SFX. I've heard good things about the Westmore Academy and mud. What do you think? (Details please! Pros and Cons would be nice) And do you know of other good schools to go to? I live in Indianapolis, at the time, but would be willing to go to the Chicago school, if they have nowhere to go. But certainly in California, they probably will move within a few years when I'm getting married.
