3 Things You Can Do to Get an Hourglass Figure Today!

There’s a major party or event coming up and you have found the perfect dress – but your body, unfortunately doesn’t look as good in it as you would like. A simple cinching of the waistline or widening of your hips would give you the perfect curves and you KNOW all eyes would be on you! You want to be a show stopper and a head turner, but your square boxy shape has the opposite effect. So what can you do to take your body from “eeh” to “WOOOW”? I have four simple things that you can do to get an instant hourglass figure!

Allow me to begin by saying that the “hourglass shape” is all about the measurements, no matter how much you weigh or don’t weight – no matter how fat or skinny you may think you are; you can still have an hourglass shape. The goal here is bring your waistline down to at least 11 inches LESS than your breast and hip measurements. So if your breast and hip measure in at 40 inches, in order to have an hourglass shape – your waist must measure in at 29 inches or less. So how do you accomplish this on short notice? To increase your breast size:

If you are a natural pear-shape then you likely already have a small waist and curvy hips, so your problem area will be your bust size. Now the obvious fix for this is to wear a padded bra, preferably a Victoria’s Secret water bra however there are a few things to make note of here. Your posture plays a major role in defining the shape of your body and adds to the feminine silhouette associated with hourglass shaped women. Spend the next few days working on your posture, we naturally and subconsciously tend to slump and slouch, so I want you to do the following exercise with me right now:

* Pretend that there is a string being pulled from the very top of your head, kind of like a puppet string. Imagine that this string is being pulled very slowly – as it is pulled begin to sit up until you are in a completely erect position.

* Still sitting in an erect position, take a deep breath in, pulling your stomach into your back. Find a comfortable position, and now hold it.

* Pull your shoulders back, softly and femininely.

Now look down at your bust and your upper body area. You have instantly given yourself the illusion of larger breasts and a slimmer torso, now put on your favorite padded bra and you’ll be putting Jessica Rabbit to shame!

To decrease your waist line:

Shaving inches off your waist-line naturally is a difficult thing to do. Most women tend to gain wait in their midsections which obviously ruins the figure. Corsets, girdles and waist cinchers are designed specifically for widdling your middle. Go for a waist-cincher or body shaper with a higher compression, this gives you more support and decreases your waist line even more. Please note that the Spanx product is NOT the best choice for decreasing your waist line. Spanx simply holds everything neatly in place, giving you a smooth look – but generally speaking, it does not make your waist smaller, at last not to the degree needed for an hourglass shape.

To increase your butt/hip size:

Adding inches to your butt and hips is relatively easy compared to the others. Panties with silicone inserts for your rear and hips are quite popular and very affordable.You can also purchase panties with the butt cut out, acting as a natural lifter giving your bum a more round and full appearance.
