Dress Etiquette Wedding
What is the proper wedding gift giving etiquette for maid of honor?
I am the maid of honor in my cousin’s wedding, and am responsible for throwing her a shower. Natually, I’ve also spent hundreds on dress/shoes/etc and in lieu of a bachelorette party, we will be taking her to a play (her request). I want to do whatever is the right thing, but considering the hundreds I’ve already spent, how much of a gift is likely expected or proper?
I think if you choose soemthing off her registry, soemthing special, then she will truly appreciate that. Like say…if you and your cousin always have coffee together, well get her her creamer & suger set from the china set she’s picked out…. I don’t think an expensive gift is the way to go here…
