Dress Down Day Ideas
I’m trying to “cute up” a dress. Ideas, suggestions, etc.?
I’m going to Hawaii in a few days, and one of my mom’s friends bought me a few things to take down there. One of them happened to be a long, white, sleveless, polo-type dress. It goes down to my ankles, and being the teenager that I am, I refuse to walk around looking like a nun. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might alter it to make it something that one might wear on a regular basis, and actually look really cute in? I can do anything to it that I would like, so there appears to be no boundaries. Any help is *greatly* appreciated…
i would try hemming it up to just above the knees to give more of a preppy tennis dress look also add little slits on each side about 1 inch each to make look a little more like is came that way, you could also find a design you like on the Internet or draw you own and print it off on to iron on paper and maybe put it on the back if it’s large or the front lapel if it’s small, just to add some color and a little of you own personality plus no one else will ever have the same thing! good luck! hope i helped!
