Clothing Trends For College Students
Whats up with the girls at my school, STRANGE trend…?
Okay see, a year ago, I had a friend who was awesome and stuff and we got along great, but she changed all of a sudden a few months after school started, and so did a few other girls.
The older girls in 8th grade wear loads of makeup, clouds of perfume,
-EXTREMELY tight clothes,
-lots of rumors of supposed ‘sleeping around’ with the guys.
-And they join sports teams just to flounce and flirt.
-They spend half their lives on their phones texting and will not stfu about hollister, abercrombie, and fitch.
-A hobby of theirs is failing classes and putting out for boys.
I’m not sure I can believe this is a phase because I’ve seen highschoolers and college students do the same thing.
ANd I’m pretty sure they are not MATURING before me (not because I dont want them to, its just i dont think that to be maturing.)
A couple of other girls have picked this up, am I missing something?
Any thoughts, opinions, or stories?

It happens to everyoen at that age- personally, i blame the media for its emphasis on being “cool” in your pre-teen and teenage years.
Their habit of failing classes and wearing loads of makeup makes them feel more “mature” because thats what they think people in high school do.
They’re the same people that will go and get into drugs, get pregnant, etc. and end up dropping out of high school
just keep your head on your shoulders, and you’ll see how people change in high school. Some of your friends will go down that path until the end, and some will snap out of it.
