clothing tags labels
Is there a word for someone who is afraid of clothes tags or labels?
I don’t think i have an irrational fear of them, i just don’t like them. I don’t like it when i can feel them in my clothes or they irritate me, i don’t like it when they stick out of my clothes and i don’t like it when you rub the two sides of one together, the noise, the feel.
I think it’s because when i was little there was a boy at my school who used to walk around holding onto his school jumper by the tag, with it in his mouth and would suck and chew it.
Ergh.
I also have panniophobia, which is the fear of stickers. I don’t like it when they are on clothes or stuck places they should be or are dirty. So when i buy clothes with little stickers on the tags and i forget to take them off and wear them, it’s like a double whammy of disgusting for me.
i think that would be OCD or something.
