Is it possible to replace a broken zipper / zipper lever?
I am a cyclist and tend to go through a lot of clothing because kit zip levers break – boots, jackets, whatever. When this happens, try to find something that can substitute for, usually a clip or a ring placed in the hole. Whenever I asked a repair shop what everyone says jacket / boot must be fitted with a new zipper, which costs lots of money! Since achieving my temporarily repair kit myself, surely there is someone somewhere has invented postal replacement levers? How hard can it be? A piece of metal through the hole to allow the rack to move up and down, connected to a large piece of metal which then tie closed. So nobody knows of an article like this available for purchase? Should I give up and buy new kit (although probably happen again) … Or should develop and patent the idea? Thanks

Yes .. theres a crazy (or was insane) from contact with children about things called "Scoobie". They are thick plastic like pipe cleaners, but are very strong and extensible, children taken keychains, etc from them and my daughter made me aa zip extractor to take my bag that the lever has arrived, and strong, get a bunch of and turn them and turn them to do things. They look like this – purchased on eBay http://www.scoobies.net/ very, very cheap, traders local newspaper or selling it as a package on 99p!
