know about India?
I have visited Europe, China and Japan. I have also lived for a couple of years in Switzerland …. I was born in India … All these nations, when thinking in India who think the second fastest growing economy, information technology / systems, film industry music industry, clothing, 9-11% annual growth … Why is it that when I go to U.S. cities, when people talk about India is spoken poverty, disease, discrimination .. Yes, all that exists, but it seems as if most (not that I'm generalizing, because I did not say all) Americans do not really know about India today. They know only minor details on current Indias growing economy. I'm not trying to insult anyone, so that please do not think I am. I agree that I can be wrong, but from what I've seen so far, India is a very mysterious to many Americans .. When I go to India, go to shopping malls, clubs, bars, cinemas and restaurants … I DNT camels travel and live in a hut (that's it, the media seems to show in the U.S.)
Hi, I'm an Indian-born U.S. my parents were born in India, but I've seen poverty and disease throughout India and is huge, but you are right about increasing the respect, but that only big cities like Bombay and New Delhi.
