Do you think the current fashion is ugly?
My sister and I were flipping through old family albums and noticed how well dressed our grandparents, uncles, aunts, and grandparents were in their day clothes modules, suits, hats and pretty shoes. Has our search for comfort in dress gone too away? Or is a modern emancipation of the old styles? No, but to me like the old stuff. Especially since the Victorian era. It's so nostalgic, beautiful, innocent, too. It reminds me a sweet moment where people were more kind to each other and calmer and happier overally. I guess fashion is not supposed to have that kind of impact on people though. : (But yes, I would not say that the current fashion is "ugly." It is not so beautiful as older things … and when I say beautiful, I mean which also represents. Not only what seems at first sight.
