Clothing Etiquette For Men

Why today's society seem to have less influence of authority?
Fewer people are willing to follow rigidly organized religion specific, but rather develop their own spirituality. People often call those who are like fundamentalists, cults, angry, narrow-minded or aggressive. Fewer people are willing to follow and comply with a government. And most people I have no problem speaking out against the government. Culturally, people do not follow habits of certain cultures, ideals, or social trends, but do what they want, such as honor, etiquette, clothing, food, etc.. And it seems that people are already starting disobedience to show business. A lot of picketing, seeking lagoons. Are people just more educated about the world today? Has society it had with the authority forcing their ideals upon them? we've finally learned what happens when we obey blindly a man?
To answer your first question on the religion thing, I developed a theory (that speaks for me at least). Growing up I was indoctrinated into the Catholic faith at a very young age. Church every Sunday, Bible readings, "Church School" and especially parental pressure. But I am very well educated for a person of 15 years (both of my parents are doctors). Because of this do not really believe in most of the teachings of Christianity, but I still find myself believing in some kind of god and that Jesus was his son. So I guess what I'm saying is that in this new world I can not believe people just have been thrown into existence completely all the power-to be one. However many believe in a sort of mixture between evolution and Christianity. This applies to the region I live in at least. In general, although it appears the institution of education and more freedoms that are really pushing people to do these things. Being a person is becoming the thing to do, although when everyone is trying to be one guy really did not work. I believe that the prevailing culture is more popular now than ever. Mainstream rap / rock music, movies, etc are actually making people dress and act the same way, but somehow convince people being people and rebels to do so. Times are definitely changing, people are questioning things, but now more than ever poeple are happy to integrate a culture. Sorry for the long answer.
