Clothing Donations For Haiti
Where I can donate clothes to Haiti?
Unfortunately, I can not donate $ to help earthquake victims in Haiti. Being a victim Northridge earthquake in the 90's-I am fully aware of the desperate need of any and all materials. I recently picked up between 50 to 70 pounds of clothing used but in good condition for both men and women of my own closet. Please let me know where my donation would be accepted anywhere Southern California thanks.
The American Red Cross can not accept donations of food, clothing or medicine for people affected by disasters due to many valuable manpower to the processing elements, logistical difficulties of storage and distribution of these articles as well as extreme shipping of goods. The most effective way to help those affected by this disaster in the affected areas is to make a financial donation to the American Red Reaction Fund Cross International. – Taken from the website of the Red Cross
