Clothing Companies That Use Sweatshops

clothing companies that use sweatshops
Is ‘Under Armour’ using sweatshop labor?

Is Under Armour made in third world countries under sweatshop conditions? I mean Nike, Gap, and just about all other major clothing companies have used/still use sweatshop labor for creating their products at low cost. I did a quick search on the internet for any instances of Under Armour using these methods, but didn’t find any..

Does Under Armour use sweatshop labor to create their products, and if not, are there ANY negative things that they do??

Nearly every garment we buy in the U.S. is assembled in a third world country with low cost labor. A few companies are explicitly shunning this practice, but they are the exception, not the rule.

If a company is not explicitly claiming that their garments are sweatshop free, you should assume they are made in sweatshop conditions.

Probably the only way you could be sure would be if you saw a “made in the U.S.A” label in the garment, and / or an ILGWU (union) label.

Garments made without sweatshop labor are MUCH more expensive. If you can buy the garment at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or other mass retailer, it is almost certainly made with third world labor.

Sorry for the reality check.
