How to shrink 100% cotton as much as possible?
My company is hosting an event tomorrow and we were given 100% cotton t-shirts to wear so that guests can easily identify us… the only problem is that I am very petite and the smallest size they ordered was an adult medium… I wear a child’s medium… I tried the shirt on but it looks like an over-sized sleep shirt. Like the kind I used to wear of my dad’s when I was a little girl. My co-workers who watched me put it on over my clothes still haven’t stopped laughing when they see me. They’ve at least subsided to giggles and chuckles, but still. The shirts have big letters and a logo put on them. How can I shrink my shirt as much as possible without messing up the lettering and logo? I don’t wanna look like a 3 year old that raided my dad’s closet before crashing a “grown up” party!

Wash it twice in hot water (not warm, hot) and then dry it on the hottest setting.
