you start to pick up the clothes you wore home from the party last night & can’t find any
you turn on the news & they are showing escape routes out of the city
the bird singing outside your window is a vulture
you call the samaritans & they put you on hold
you discover that your child’s idea of humour is putting super glue in your haemorrhoid lotion
you wake up, discover your water bed has sprung a leak,
and then you remember you don’t have a water bed
your horn sticks on the motorway behind 32 hell’s angels
you realise that the phone number written on the wall of the public toilets is for your wife’s mobile
you compliment the boss’s wife on her unusual perfume & sha isn’t wearing any
your four year old tells you that it’s almost impossible to flush a grapefruit down the toilet
