Buy Wedding Dress In China

Has anyone bought a custom made wedding dress from one of those companies on ebay?
I was looking for wedding dresses that were a little less expensive than going to a store and I keep seeing these companies on ebay in like Canada or China that can custom make any dress for you for like $100-200. I was wondering if anyone had gone through one of these companies and what their results were? I don’t want to pay $200 and get a piece of crap that falls apart as I walk down the aisle. Please help! Thanks!
I ordered from Gianinarbridal on eBay and had a great experience. My dress is not a knock-off. It was their own design that they showed photos of. Knock-offs worry me because they show a pic of the original ad and state that they will make a similar dress. Similar to you and similar to them could be totally different things and I wouldn’t trust it.
I am very happy with the quality and the fit of the dress. There were some threads that on a higher end dress would have been trimmed off. But for $219 including shipping I didn’t mind snipping them off myself. The dress is well made, a good fabric, and fit me perfectly.
I do recommend you order well in advance because the dress could be delayed or damaged during shipping and you want to make sure the seller has a chance to resolve any problems. You also want to ensure you have time to have the dress pressed before the wedding, too. It doesn’t come out picture perfect. Mine was quite wrinkled (as you can see in some pics below).
If this link doesn’t work e-mail me. These are photos from the ad and my actual dress when it came in:
