A Pair Of Shoes Poem
Can you tell me if you like my finished shoe poem?
I know i already asked this twice, but i just finished the poem and I was wondering what you think of it and if you could revise it for me. It’s supposed to appeal to a younger audience.

here is the poem
My favorite pair of shoes are waiting to be worn
The seams, the souls, the tongue, are all torn
Blue they were, and blue they will be
Just as blue as the deep blue sea
I got them in a box, all brand new
The years I thought they’d last were few
they lasted a long time, though they are now are no more
After all these years, I’ll have to go back to the store
I, the shoe, am sinking into a deep despair
I am to worn to wear, she will have to buy a new pair
We have walked through camp, school and town
Now, that I am leaving, I wonder if she will frown
I’ve had a good long life
with not much struggle or strife
Now that I have come to an end,
I only hope that I am still her friend
I like it.
